We went to the Ludacris Album Release Party for Ludacris’ Theather of the Mind presented by Remy Martin. On the turn table was no other but the great DJ Cassidy once again tearing up the latest in Hip Hop and R and B. TV Personality SWAY was in the house to show support to the great album Ludacris was dropping. Introducing the rapper to the venue Strata on 21st Street was Disturbing the Peace Executive Chaka Zulu. The crowd was packed and everybody was feeling nice on the full Remy Martin open bar. Ludacris brought it back from Southern Hospitality to hits from the current album.

Recently we went to the TRL Wrap Party for its finale episode on air. although we are sad to hear that the show will no longer be on the waves we appreciate it being a program that led to many openings to the public eye and for the industry.

On Thursday, December 18th, The Patron Spirits Co. (Patron Tequila and Ultimat Vodka) and New York Cares came together at the “The Naughty or Nice Party”- the holiday party of the year in Soho! At the party, the cast of MTV’s “The City” dropped by the party to celebrate the holiday season and stir up some more exciting drama that you will be seeing in the coming months. Guests like Whitney Port, Olivia Palermo, America’s Next Top Model Alum Mila Bouzinova, and Victoria’s Secret model Ginta Lapina shed their coats to donate to New York Cares 20th Annual Coat Drive, munched on hors d’eurves provided by Whole Foods gourmet, sipped on drinks like the “Naughty,” the “Nice,” the “Polar Espresso,” and “Rudolph’s Reward”.
Guests also walked away with gift bags featuring items from:

Eight years pass due for a new president and no offense to bush but we needed change. here is an event put on by Russell Simmons, Smart Water, and PR company JLM PR. Many VIPs showed up to lend their support in the coming elections. In the Club/ Lounge TAJ 2.0 there were live feeds of the election debates. The DJ was spinning and the crowd was loud with overlapping chatter but when the debate came on you could not hear a peep accross the room. The crowd included Russell Simmons, Ludacris, ANTM Jaslene Gonzalez, Hip Hop Violinist Miri Ben-Ari, Aubrey O’Day, Cedric The Entertainer, Alexander Allen, Zenell from G’s to Gents, EPMD, Comedian Anthony Anderson, S.W Roseburg, BJ Coleman, DEF Jam’s Jamal Jimoh, Universal Recording Artist Stephanie Vara, Kevin Liles, Chanel Iman, Simon Perry, Naughty by Nature, Stephon Marbury and many others.

We had a chance to hang out with Winner Indashio from Vivica A Fox’s show on VH1 “Glam God”. He was celebrating his recent victory against the other contestants of the show. Overall we had a great time with him and the other invited guest. it took place at the old “China Club” now dubbed “Opera”. Mayor Bloomberg at a star-studded award ceremony, awarded Tony-winning playwright Neil Simon. The Bronx-born Simon was the featured honoree at the Mayor’s Awards for Arts and Culture, winning the Handel Medallion, the city’s highest award for artistic achievement. Also at the event was Danny Simmons co- founder of RUSH Philanthropic Arts Foundation , brother of Russell Simmons, Ugly Betty Star Vanessa Williams, Actor Matthew Broderick, and Statler & Waldorf of the Muppets amongst many others. many live performances and trait shows occurred before the ceremony.

Jerritt Clark Along with Moises De Pena, And Rekurdheadz Clothing Designer Kofi showed strangers from Europe a good time. While they enjoyed their last few days in the U.S we had a chance to take them to NYC local clubs and bars. this goes to prove that chivalry isn’t dead.
