She was very very ecstatic about endorsing the new line and being so with fellow gold-winning Olympian 16-year-old Shawn Johnson. AT the event she was happily signing away copies of the shirts and posters for admiring fans.
We had the pleasure of meeting Tila Teqauila As she unveiled her new book. “Hooking Up with Tila Tequila: A Guide to Love, Fame, Happiness, Success, and Being the Life of the Party”. The book hit stores December 2, 2008.
About the Author
Tila Tequila (née Nguyen), is a model, entertainer, and singer who lives in West Hollywood, California. She is known for her photographs in Stuff, Maxim, Time, Penthouse, her hit MTV reality dating show A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, and her position as the most popular artist on MySpace. Nguyen was born in Singapore and raised in Houston, Texas.
Tila Reads a Chapter of Her Book
She did not only show up to a crowd of hundreds of fans but she also signed all purchased copies of her book. Everybody who showed left happily with spirits lifted, talk about hand cramps from all the books she had to sign.
We went to the Ludacris Album Release Party for Ludacris’ Theather of the Mind presented by Remy Martin. On the turn table was no other but the great DJ Cassidy once again tearing up the latest in Hip Hop and R and B. TV Personality SWAY was in the house to show support to the great album Ludacris was dropping. Introducing the rapper to the venue Strata on 21st Street was Disturbing the Peace Executive Chaka Zulu. The crowd was packed and everybody was feeling nice on the full Remy Martin open bar. Ludacris brought it back from Southern Hospitality to hits from the current album.

The newly formed Junior Committee of the AHA (American Heart Association) here in New York under the direction of Steven Adler (whose own son is a Heart Surgeon) and Daughter Alyssa Adler held its Hamtpon’s Kick Off Party. Ms. Adler explained that the event is one of barely (5) planned from December through May (May–when the Hampton’s season officially begins.) Guests entered the still seemingly sexy venue of Whiskey Park on the tony Central Park South and Sixth Avenue stretch. Attendees were primarily part of the growing throng of young and sophisticated –and we do not use the word sophisticated lightly– included: Host Committee Organizer Carter Cramer, John Guskind, Michael Berkley, John Louis Bergdorf, Executive Committee Member Rhett Milshaps, etc. Steven Adler’s speech informing guests that Heart disease affected the lives of more women last year than Breast Cancer was a startling reality. The toast to a brighter tomorrow to this special group who will be taking on a number of fundraisers to come, made for a very poignant evening.

Eight years pass due for a new president and no offense to bush but we needed change. here is an event put on by Russell Simmons, Smart Water, and PR company JLM PR. Many VIPs showed up to lend their support in the coming elections. In the Club/ Lounge TAJ 2.0 there were live feeds of the election debates. The DJ was spinning and the crowd was loud with overlapping chatter but when the debate came on you could not hear a peep accross the room. The crowd included Russell Simmons, Ludacris, ANTM Jaslene Gonzalez, Hip Hop Violinist Miri Ben-Ari, Aubrey O’Day, Cedric The Entertainer, Alexander Allen, Zenell from G’s to Gents, EPMD, Comedian Anthony Anderson, S.W Roseburg, BJ Coleman, DEF Jam’s Jamal Jimoh, Universal Recording Artist Stephanie Vara, Kevin Liles, Chanel Iman, Simon Perry, Naughty by Nature, Stephon Marbury and many others.
